faq for PURCHASING artwork
PAYMENT
I accept credit cards and PayPal online or via phone 816.304.7380, or cash in person.
All CREDIT CARD PROCESSING will show Art by the Yard as the company name. This is the name of my studio that I co-own with my husband, Richard Fritz.
ARTWORK PRICING
Artwork is priced UNFRAMED and per inch based on complexity of overall surface (surface intensity) and cost of materials used.
NOT SURE THE ART WILL WORK IN YOUR SPACE?
Send me a well lit picture of your room, I’ll photoshop my artwork image on your wall so you can get a better idea.
ARTWORK COMMISSION
I would be happy to talk with you about your vision and needs. Given my extensive background in the print industry, wall graphics and other printables are possible. Email me your thoughts and contact info and we can arrange a time to meet by phone or via Zoom.
RETURNS OR EXCHANGES OF ORIGINAL WORKS OF ART
Returns or exchanges of original works of art are welcome if they are:
SHIPPING
Original works of art are shipped flat UNFRAMED via UPS or FedEx Ground.
Original art will ship as early as the next business day however please allow 14 business days from the date of your to your delivery date.
DAMAGE DURING SHIPPING
The original artwork will be insured for the purchase value through the shipper.
In the unlikely event that your order is damaged during shipping please keep all original packaging for the shipper's inspection. Send photos of the damage and I will help you file a claim with the shipper.

Returns or exchanges of original works of art are welcome if they are:
- Returned within 7 days from the date of delivery.
- Arrive in the same exact condition as shipped.
- Include all original packaging.
- Please note, there are no exceptions to this policy.
- Orders placed through Fine Art America or Society6 must be handled directly with those services.
SHIPPING

- Once your order is shipped I will email you your tracking number.
- Please include your phone number with your order so that if necessary, the carrier can contact you.
- For international orders, you are welcome to make a purchase and then arrange for shipping.
